POSITION SUMMARY

Final QC is responsible for performing final inspection on all outgoing electronic boards. He/she will work from blueprints specifications and other documentation to determine acceptance or rejection of the job. This position reports to the PCBA Rework Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform final inspection on all electronic boards.
  • Work from documentation (blueprints specifications) to determine acceptance or rejection of job/material;
  • Create appropriate records of inspection activities- enter QC data in logs, fill out transfer documents and Non-Conforming Material reports;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exp. in utilizing microscope in accordance w/ IPC-610 STD.
  • Exp. in FQC & QC for Solder Inspection in SMT/Thru-hole in-process & final inspection required.
  • Working with small electromechanical assembly fixtures
  • Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics, microscopic assembly and soldering
  • Work with IPC standard.
  • Able to read and understand English.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of Quality Control inspection experience in electronic environment.

Probationary Period:

Employees must complete 90 days of probation at a satisfactory performance level prior to gaining permanent status.

POSITION SUMMARY

The PCBA Hand solder worker is responsible for hand soldering the electronic components on the Microscope. He/she is accountable for printed circuit board assembly, touch up, soldering, and rework. This position reports to the PCBA Production Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for printed circuit board assembly, touch up, soldering and rework;
  • Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panel;
  • Rework/repair PCBA’s (electronic boards);
  • Crimp, screw, weld, solder, press fits, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years experience hand soldering thru-hole & cable wiring assemblies per IPC 610 / 620 required.
  • Working with small electromechanical assembly fixtures.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Test Technician is responsible for performing manufacturing assembly and test operations in a production environment. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare product, conduct testing and document test results;
  • Set up and calibrate test equipment;
  • Generate production test reports;
  • Perform all in-process testing, assembly verifications and final calibration and testing;
  • Ability to troubleshoot all company products;
  • Support manufacturing engineering as required;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in reading electronics schematic, test instructions and using test instruments.
  • Trouble shooting at circuitry and components level.
  • Strong skills in reading, understanding, and communicating information contained on manufacturing documentation.
  • Demonstrate superior organization skills along with the ability to present information to the Managerial Team clearly and effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to information deemed to be sensitive to the Company’s well-being.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills; Bilingual in Vietnamese preferred.
  • Experience in analysis in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in internet use for work-related purposes and standard email software (such as MS Outlook, Gmail, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • 2-5 years experience in PCB soldering, rework.
  • AS or Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics, Computer Science, and Software Engineering preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

To perform a variety of professional and technical duties in the purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment and services. Incumbents assigned to this level perform the most routine professional purchasing duties requiring general working knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures. In addition to the individual shall also be responsible for internal coordination of communication according to customer and company requirements. General job duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment and services;
  • Receive, examine, and process departmental requests;
  • Prepare quotes and other necessary documents related to the purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment and services in both formal and informal situations;
  • Solicit bids from appropriate vendors, and compare costs and evaluate the quality and suitability of materials, supplies, equipment and services;
  • Select appropriate vendors; accomplish the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment and services;
  • Maintain contact with vendors; keep informed of new products, market conditions, and current prices; monitor and evaluate vendor performance;
  • Confer with responsible department employees to determine purchasing needs, specifications, areas of standardization, and special problems;
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with other departments and outside organizations as required;
  • Investigate and follow-up on changes and complaints, secure adjustments, and make changes and correction to purchase orders;
  • Maintain liaison with the Sales, Document Control and Planning Groups on matters relating to substitutions, equivalents, delivery schedules, and vendor problems;
  • Communicate and process customer inquiries including Request for Quote (RFQ)
  • Make order entries
  • Coordinate customer production and delivery requirements with operations
  • Maintain and communicate delivery schedule with customers
  • Participate in customer meetings

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

Immediate supervision is provided by Director of Materials and Business Development and higher-

level administrative.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Purchasing practices and procedures.
  • Methods and techniques utilized in grading and analyzing the quality of materials, supplies, equipment and services.
  • Basic accounting procedures and practices.
  • Evaluate quality and price of products to judge suitability of goods and alternatives offered.
  • Prepare quotes and specifications.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with departmental representatives and vendors.
  • Tactfully and skillfully obtain the proper materials and services in a timely manner for a fair and reasonable price.
  • Excellent interpersonal and both written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • One to two year experience prefer but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write

simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group

situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common

fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or

diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized

situations.

Driver’s License:

Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License.
