Training and Process Flow Controls

100% Quality Inspection



MAI performs 100% Inspection for all PCB Assemblies
   
  - Each PCBA is AOI-inspected for proper component placement to ensure correct ID, orientation, polarity, alignment.

  - Each PCBA is visually inspected for soldering quality in compliance with IPC-610 & customers' specifics
   
  - Each PCBA is functionally inspected/tested based on customers' functional test acceptance criteria.
 
  - Each PCBA with ESD components is to be properly packaged to prevent ESD damage during shipping
.  
  - All PCBA items are properly labeled and accompanied with necessary test data and/or compliance certificates.

MAI performs 100% Inspection for all Cable Assemblies

  - Each cable/harness is electrically tested for continuity & open-circuited conditions with special cable testers
   
  - Each cable assembly is functionally tested as specifically required by customers' given requirements.
 
  - Each cable assembly is visually inspected per customers' instructions.
 
  - Each first-article cable assembly is mechanically tested as required for pull strength test.
 
 

- All cable assembly items are properly labeled and accompanied with necessary test data.

  - We put emphasis on capital equipment and continuous effort in training our personnel with needed skills.
  MAI has been capable to deliver excellent quality products on-time to customers with diverse products.
  This was possible due to the fact that MAI has continuosly invested on high-throughput manufacturing equipment, skilled & experienced personnel, knowledgeable quality control department, good documentation practices. MAI has experienced very high percentage of satisfied and returning customers.
  - We analyze and learn from our customers’ feedback to make expedient improvement and prevent known
  problems from re-occurring. Our personnel from document control department are very thorough and very detail-oriented and our production people do adjust quickly and do have long-term memory.
  - MAI also provides First-Article Reports, if requested by our customer, to some production items that may render
  serious manufacturability issues. The reports would normally be the result of thorough investigations, logical, intensive, and technically precise engineering analysis.
